Representatives from Brady Marine & Civil and building partner Crocker Builders were pleased to attend the official opening of the recently completed West End ferry Terminal last Sunday.
The terminal was badly damaged by flooding in January, so the new terminal construction was brought forward and accelerated by Brisbane City Council to hand over the new terminal to Council as quickly as possible.
Works commenced in April with demolition of the damaged structure, followed by foundation works for the new terminal building and approach walkways. The completed structure features high quality finishes and detailing throughout the waiting area structure, covered walkways and integrated amenities block.
