These projects require a high level of engineering expertise, experience with and understanding of a variety of methodologies and access to specialist equipment and personnel.

As a specialist marine contractor, we have a reputation for successfully delivering challenging marine infrastructure projects. Our strength is in delivering projects with an element of technical complexity. Subsea pipelines fall neatly into this category and we have had repeated success in their delivery.

We have been engaged in Early Contractor Involvement arrangements for all pipelines we have delivered. This environment has provided the best opportunity to ensure the client requirements, design and methodology reflect the risks posed by each given situation.

Our proven experience in outfall construction has included the successful delivery of pipelines for power station cooling water, sewerage treatment plants and desalination projects. Clients have included public water authorities, local councils and private enterprises.

Pipeline materials we have worked with include HDPE, concrete weight-coated steel and reinforced concrete, installed by methodologies including directional drill. “bottom pull”, “float and sink” and dig and lay”.

Several of our outfall projects have received awards for the innovative way in which we have addressed the construction risk with our chosen methodology. As with all of our projects, there is an emphasis on minimising disturbance to the foreshore. We have developed innovative ways of achieving this, and these awards are testament to our success eliminating any disturbance to the greatest extent possible.

Our projects
